What To Know About UIF Continuation Of Payments

Did you know that you may only file a continuation of benefit form after your normal benefit claim has been approved?

If you submit a continuation form before the claim is authorized, the Paymaster will cancel your continuation benefit/payment.

SUBMITTING A UIF CONTINUATION OF PAYMENT ON UFILING

1. Open a web browser and go to https://ufiling.labour.gov.za/uif/

2. Use your username and password to log in.

3. Click on “Benefit Applications and Payments”.

4. Select “Continuation of Benefits”.

5. Use the drop-down arrow to select one of the four benefits and click “next”. 6. Accept the terms and conditions.

7. Confirm banking details.

8. Confirm personal details.

9. Select your region, labour centre and confirm employment status.

10. Once successfully submitted, the following message will appear “your application has been successfully submitted”.

Huge Claims Will Be Subjected To Verification Before Payment – UIF

UIF payments latest news – The South African Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) is bringing to an end the tide of fraud and corruption acts committed through claims.

Since the beginning of June there has been a significant drop in daily pay outs, from about R90 million to around R50 million, due to verification processes that the UIF has re-introduced.

“We have recently noticed a significant rise in corrupt activities where claims with significantly higher amounts are quickly processed and paid.

We have noticed a pattern where these claims tend to be the same amount, processed from the same areas and without source documents.

“Hence we insist that all processed claims, particularly those with huge amounts, shall be subjected to verifications before payments are released. We urge our beneficiaries to be patient with us, as we need to make sure benefits are paid to the right people”, says the UIF’s Commissioner, Teboho Maruping.

SASSA Latest News Update Today Friday 9Th, 2022 – Clients are urged not to repeatedly change their bank details on the SRD website, as the account will have to be verified each time a change is made- which may delay payment for such a client. This was made public on SASSA Official facebook page.

The statement reads “Clients are urged not to repeatedly change their bank details on the SRD website, as the account will have to be verified each time a change is made-which may delay payment for such client.

Clients are urged to please provide their correct bank account details so that we can timeously facilitate their grant payments. The bank account should still be active and registered in the applicant’s name.
