Good day to all of our illustrious npower recipients. I want to wish you a wonderful Monday, April 4th, 2022. Today’s Npower Discussion Group Post is brought to you by NigeriapenNG Newspaper.

Npower Batch C Volunteers should start expecting their payments soon as the payment and payroll status on Npower NASIMS dashboard have started changing to pending, although some Npower Batch C Volunteers have not noticed any changes on their Npower NASIMS dashboard, if you are yet to notice any changes on your payment status on the Npower NASIMS dashboard please exercise patience as the changes just commenced few hours ago.

In the coming weeks Npower Batch C Volunteers should start receiving credit for all outstanding payments, please if you are having the failed payment issues, you will be paid as backlog, their are specific periods for backlog payments, once your name falls into that backlog payment period you will definitely be credited with your stipend.

Npower volunteers under the Non graduate category that have commenced their training should also expect payment, please take note, if you have not started your training you will not be paid.

The moment the payment process is initiated and alerts begins to land in the account of people, you will see how everybody will start blessing nasims and Npower.

Imagine you thanking God for Npower that is paying you only one month (January) stipend after owing you for three months (Jan,Feb and March). The problem with many of us is that we don’t even know our right,so we have thank God for whatever we receive at the end.

What is annoying is when I see people posting something like “God bless nasims, I have received my alert”. This is you thanking God for receiving one slice of bread when you are suppose to be giving a whole loaf of the bread 🍞.

I think it is high time we get wisdom to know that programs and initiatives like Npower will not help the average young person in this country to succeed in life.Our future is in our hands, the government has proving that they are not capable of creating a better tomorrow for us.Wisdom is profitable to direct.

NASIMS latest news today on stipend payment is that President Buhari may approve the budget for payment of January stipends on or before Monday, April 4, 2022.

NASIMS management wrote; ISSUE REGARDING JANUARY, FEBRUARY AND MARCH STIPENDS Dear N-Power Batch C (Stream 1) Beneficiaries
While we acknowledge your grievances and patience so far during these months of hardship, please note that the issue of unpaid January, February and March stipends is not primarily caused by NASIMS or the staff thererin, as the budget is yet to be approved.

However, we wish to inform you that President Buhari may approve the budget for payment of January stipends on or before Monday (4th April 2022).

This means that payment of January stipends will be initiated soon, as we had promised. Apologies for the inconveniences.

“These Batch C stream 1 N-Power volunteers have only been paid September stipend and yet to receive October, November and December stipend.

“Does she want them to use a miracle to go to their PPA without receiving their stipend?

“Some of these volunteers quit where they were managing their life to join N-Power in order to make life easy for them, most especially in this economic situation we found ourselves in Nigeria.

“Most of N-Power Batch C stream 1 are presently confused, either to resume to Npower job or go back to where they were working before.

“The primary aim and objectives of the N-Power programme (Batches A and B) were not achieved as 95% of the beneficiaries are now back to the streets and jobless and the same mistake is about to happen to batch C again.

“An official statement on the issue surrounding the exit package for Batches A and B and payment of batch C should be made.

“As graduates, matured and experienced citizens of Nigeria, we are tired of the way she handles N-Power programme and it’s obvious that she doesn’t have regards for Nigeria youths.

The sole reason behind Sadiya Umar farouq’s poor attention to the Npower beneficiaries is due to the fact that she believes that most of the beneficiaries are poor people with no connection. She feels that irrespective of her actions the beneficiaries will not in anyway question or challenge her, because I can’t fathom why she deliberately refuse to pay the backlogs of stipend and at the same time refuses to address the beneficiaries. Atleast if she has addressed that would have automatically given the people the hope and calm their nerves. She feels that it will be out of proportion to address or talk to poor and irrelevant Nigerians. I don’t know what she is to President Buhari, but It is obviously that she isn’t competent of that office..You can’t be a minister of Humanitarian and you don’t posses human sympathy and empathy.

“We hope and believe that the needful will be done before the 2nd week of January.” Which still fail till today been 4th April,2022.

Beneficiaries demanded that NASIMS management pay corpers using the NYSC payment system. Npower Batch C beneficiaries also claim that things went smoothly when Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was in charge of the program. Beneficiaries received their payments on time… Things moved from bad to worse once it was entrusted to Fauro’s control.

NASIMS Apologies For Delay In Npower January Stipend Payment

NASIMS management has apologised for its failure to pay Npower Batch C beneficiaries their January stipend.

The management claims that the delay is beyond their control.

The following was the statement: Greetings, Npower Batch C1 Recipients! We recognize how important the stipends are to you; nevertheless, please note that the payment delay is not intentional; we are doing everything we can to guarantee that you receive your payments as soon as possible.

NASIMS said, “To be clear, your January 2022 payment is currently under review and is nearing completion.” To that end, payment will be initiated as soon as possible, while all outstanding 2021 debts are gradually resolved. In addition, the technical difficulties we’ve been dealing with are a factor in the payment irregularities.

The Npower administration has sent a fresh number GG N-BUILD recipients because training is about to start.


Npower confirmed this on its official Twitter account, stating that the Federal Government has approved the training of 50,000 N-Build recipients.

Sadiya Umar Farouq, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, had previously hinted at the training at the Federal Executive Council on Wednesday, where the National Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Industrial Training Fund (ITF), National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism, and Hydraulic Equipment Development Institute (HEDI) were given the green light to train the beneficiaries for nine months.

6.4 Million Applied For N-Power Batch-C Programme

The Federal Government received a total of 6.4 million applications for its N-Power Batch-C youth empowerment scheme, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq, announced on Tuesday.

Speaking in Abuja at the humanitarian ministry open house event/inauguration of Internally Displaced Persons Policy, she stated that 510,000 applicants had been enrolled, while 490,000 would come on board.

Farouq said, “The ministry successfully exited the 500,000 Batches A and B N-Power beneficiaries in 2020 and received about 6.4 million applications for Batch C.

“From Batches A and B, 109,823 beneficiaries have gone on to set up businesses in their communities, underlining and highlighting the impact and importance of the N-Power Programme.

Under Batch-C stream 1 there are 510,000 currently enrolled and benefitting from the programme, while an additional 490,000 will be enrolled following presidential approval to increase the number to one million.”

This was disclosed by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq At the Federal Executive Council on Wednesday, where the National Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Industrial Training Fund (ITF), National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism, Hydraulic Equipment Development Institute (HEDI) were given the nod to train the beneficiaries for 9 months.
