Flip Or Flop: Christina Haack Praises Josh Hall Amid Custody Drama

Joshua Hall has been an amazing husband and support system to Flip Or Flop alum Christina Haack and she took the time to acknowledge him in a new social media post. It has been nearly one month since Christina and Josh’s secret marriage, and the TV personality appears to be loving every moment of it. However, Christina’s life has not been total bliss despite having a lovely partner. She and her ex-husband Ant Anstead are currently in a custody battle over their 2-year-old son Hudson. After calling it quits, the former couple was granted joint custody of their son. The former lovebirds seem to have hit a rough patch in their co-parenting arrangement. This became evident after Ant filed for full custody of Hudson at a court in Orange County, California.

The 43-year-old English television presenter cited Christina’s poor parenting attitude as the reason for his request. Ant explained that the 38-year-old real estate investor has not had quality time with the toddler and uses him in social media promotions without his consent. After Ant’s custody filing, Christina reacted with a post on social media where she noted her disappointment with Ant’s actions. The Christina on the Coast star explained that Ant could have handled the matter privately, adding that she is not a bad mom and always looks out for her kids. Eventually, the court declined Ant’s full custody request, with the former couple now scheduled to appear in court on June 28.

In the meantime, Christina is acknowledging light and peace amid her and Ant’s ups and downs. She took to her Instagram account on Sunday, May 8, to post about how her life has changed since meeting her new husband, Josh. The TV personality started her post by stating that May has never been a good month because she has had her most challenging experiences in the month. However, this May has been different for the HGTV personality because of Josh’s presence in her life. Christina wrote of her husband’s significance, “The difference is this May I have a man who treats me with unconditional love and respect. Standing by me and helping me through these times as I feel like I’m being sucker-punched left and right.”

Christina explained in the post that one could only know who sincerely cares during tough situations and advised her followers to show extra affection towards those who love them. A segment of her caption read, “If you have a person who loves and respects you hug them extra tight tonight because trust me not everyone has this.” Christina has had nothing but good words about Josh since they made their affair public in 2021. The reality television star and Josh recently relocated from Dana Point to Newport Beach, California, and started their own production company. The couple’s Unbroken Productions firm is set to kick off with the production of their own HGTV design show, titled Christina in the Country.

Flip or Flop alum Christina appears to be enjoying her marriage to Josh, and it is good that May finally has good memories for her. Although her custody battle with Ant may be another disturbing situation to deal with, the mom-of-three has all the support she needs in Josh. With the newlyweds’ bond looking tighter, Christina will have all the comfort required during her and Ant’s June 28 hearing. If the couple keeps up with their beautiful relationship, Christina may never have to handle any difficulty alone.
