The SBI Youth for India Fellowship provides an opportunity for India’s brightest young minds to live and work in rural areas, assisting in the resolution of major rural development concerns.
Young leaders are drawn to the fellowship because they will go on a transformative leadership journey throughout their time there. They essentially go through the 4 phases by unlearning and imbuing the difficulties of rural India, partnering with NGO partners, fellows, and the local community, and lastly establishing and maintaining grassroots-level initiatives:

The qualities of an ideal candidate
Though candidates come from different professional & academic fields, the fellowship welcomes candidates who demonstrate a deep interest, passion, and commitment to the development of Rural India. The candidate should have the humility and eagerness to learn within a cross-cultural context. They should also demonstrate a strong commitment to service and are adaptive, entrepreneurial and innovative, in finding solutions in under-resourced environments.
